I'd like to recommend Juan Enriquez's books. He is a terrific writer on what we need as a society to stay competitive in the knowledge economy. Of course this has implications for our students. His books are accessible, easy to read despite the topics he discusses, and filled with fascinating information. His two books are "As the Future Catches You" and "The Untied States of America."

Thanks everyone, for pushing yourselves to learn new technology at our last PD meeting. I think the Google Docs spreadsheet will help make scheduling our PD activities easier. It can also be posted to our website so everyone can see it.
